May 2, 2010, Dipolog City - Eleazar "JR" Barba from Dumaguete City ruled the Urban Downhill and BMX Racing in the Open Elite Class during the 2010 National Summer Bike Fest held last May 1-2 in Dipolog City. Kevin Temblador from Iloilo City captured all three events in the Downhill and BMX Racing Novice Class and the 4 Cross Open Elite Class.

Eleazar Barba bested all in the Downhill event attracting 37 entries in all classess. JR showed his prowess in the Elite Class with SEA Games Gold Medalist and cousin Joey Barba who only placed third after Scott Remi also from Dumaguete City placing second. Veterans Bans Mendoza and Wendell Barba settled for 4th & 5th respectively.

JR also ruled the BMX Racing Open Elite Class with Mitchell Beatriz placing second, Jhong Hormillosa third and Norbert Cimafrance, a local rider from Dipolog City in the 4th position. All four are from Russ BMX Racing Team.
